Hello my friends,
how is everyone?
Found a home yet? :)
No worries if you didn't. Me neither and I'm still positive to find a room until uni starts ;)
Now let's move on over to the next page of the exciting book called UN! L!FE...
Whether you're excited or a little nervous about starting uni... going home often or wait till the term is over.. It all doesn't matter....
Whith all the hype and excitement that comes with a new beginning you'll at some point possibly find yourself wondering if you made the right decision...
DID I CHOOSE THE RIGHT UNI?
DO I STUDY WHAT INTERESTS ME?
WHAT IF I'D LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE?
DO I TAKE THE RIGHT CURSES?
-- and so on and so on....
See you can always ask yourself "what if..."
But at the end you had your reasons to choose this city over that or one subject over another.
And whatever happens... never forget...
Life is what happens, while we make plans...
I had a that's-so-true moment a few days ago when someone of my family (who's currently in hospital) was in a very life-threatening situation that made us realize... ALL the plans that we did about adjusting the home to the needs of the person who's in hospital were absolutely on-ice as we had to see how the person is doing and what happens now....
Though this is a very sad example you can still use the saying in any situation... Maybe while you're worrying about how you'll EVER be able to get this homework done by... OH NO... TOMORROW!... there might be one smart ass article about exactly your homework on the first website you'll open if you really get yourself into it...
SOOOO... what do we learn from that? STOP WORRYING! You won't know what great things are coming for you that you can't even imagine at the moment.. And in a few months you'll laugh about it and say.. LOOK.. it's been so easy all the while I was worrying.
RELAX... grab yourself a cup of tea and let life make its own plan :)
Now that's a mantra ;)
I'll see you soon and clean a little of the mess in your head up...

Hello my friends,
my name is Lisa Jumble and I'll keep you up-to-date about everything uni-related in the future!
Come on in, grab yourself a handful confetti and celebrate with us :)
My very first act as the newly head of this beautiful site is.... to help you of course :)
I know, I know.. you'll probably say... HOW IS SHE SUPPOSED TO HELP ME? SHE DOESN'T KNOW ME! But don't close the window yet! I promise this won't harm you in any way!
Just answer those questions here:
1 Do you want to start uni this fall?
2 Do you already know which uni you will study at?
3 You have no idea where to live, right?
4 You have searched website after website for a proper living.. am I right?
If you answered at least one of those questions with a YES this is the place to be for you!
Let's bring back the fun into boring house hunting shall we?
I've got three worksheets for you, depending on the position you find yourself in at the moment...:
1 You don't have any idea what your dream home looks like? -> Here's help:
2 You already know which is your perfect home but you can't decide on all the offers you received? -> Check this out:
3 You don't know what to believe, have no idea what would be best for you and would like to simply stay at home forever? -> Worry no more:
1 Start scribbling down your expectations before starting.
2 When searching the net, don't forget to use a filter with your most important needs... it'll simplify the search.
3 As much as you love living at home where mom does everything - start early to have a chance to get a cool new home.
4 Don't get frustrated when it gets tough to find something that fits your expectations.
5 If you figure there's NO OFFER with your expectations.. try and break them down a little.
6 BE EXCITED! It's a new start, new city! Everything will be exciting. Find something where you can feel "at home" even if you're far away from your former home :)
Now it's your turn! Get up, print out your worksheets and start working! Let me know your results in the comments below :)
