My very first blog post and already a very promising topic...
I have lots of cool cook books laying around on my bookshelves that are barely dragged out because I basically cook with what I have at home. Yet, it isn't SUCH a big deal to actually cook something according to a cook book and simply buy the right ingredients beforehand.
Now, I remember watching a movie once (Julie &Julia, can only recommend it) where the main character cooked herself through the cook book of her idol and blogged about this...
Can you tell where this is going? Right! I'll do the same. Starting with the Jamie Oliver cook book "JAMIE'S 30 MINUTE MEALS". :)
If you don't know what it looks like...
The book exists of 50 three-meal courses that are apparently easy to cook and only take 30mins to prepare. Sounds good, huh?
Of course there are some meal ideas I will probably not cook, because I am not such a big fan of their main ingredients. But still, I'll try my best to try as many as possible :)
The thought is that I'll cook them and take pics doing it and reflecting about their taste, easiness, costs (I'm a student after all) and the actual time it took me... as general standards :)
I'll put them into a 4 star system and reflect about them (in my personal opinion) on the blog :)
Hope you are interested in this journey and will check the progress every now and then under the #JamieOliverProject tag :)
