I've got something big coming up for you tomorrow!
HINT: It's got something to do with the picture below!
HINT 2: Stay tuned tomorrow for what's coming :)
P.s. There aren't really more clues I can give you so keep an eye on the website and be as excited as I am :)
YESSS WE DID IT! Germany is FINALLY World Cup Winner again! It took us 24 years to get to this point again.
But it was as if someone planned everything out. 1954, 1974, 1990, 2014... See the regularity? ;)
And it truly was hoping and trembling until the 113th minute if I'm not mistaken.
Then Mario Götze (is the reason I actually started to watch football a few years ago) did his magic and shot the only goal of the match. My tip was a 4:2 win for Germany btw. :'D
But there were so many outstanding players at this year's World Cup in the German team.
Think about Thomas Müller who isn't only a brilliant player but also has an incredibly funny personality (hint: an interview after they won).
Or Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng who did a great job defending the goal.
Talking about goals.... what an amazing World Cup wad that for Manuel Neuer?!? The Best Keeper trophy was really well-deserved! Think back to the game against Algeria where Neuer was basically the only one ACTUALLY playing, running, defending for 90mins straight.
After the game soo many celebrities posted pictures and congratulated the team like Olly Murs for example, who even travelled to Rio for the final. Also Joe and Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Andreas Bourani, Tim Bendzko, David Henry, Grimmers and Little Mix congratulated our boys.
Last but not least One Direction's Niall Horan sent his congratulations out to the German team :)
Now have a good night...
it's me again... :D
...with super-duper great news.
Last weekend the yearly tff (Tanz-Folk-Fest/dance and folk festival) took place in Rudolstadt.
Now the tickets were quite expensive considering the size of the city... 36 € for people who live there and even 72 € for people coming from farther away.. I believe you can guess which one I had to pay -.-"
Yet the tff itself was pretty impressive which I really enjoyed.
So this was my first year going to the festival on all four days and I found two very amazing bands that make my heart beat a little faster.
One of them is byebye from Leipzig, Germany. It consists of the two friends Tim and Oli who are both playing guitar and singing self written songs. They're true singer-songwriters.
They played on the streets several times and everytime I walked past the audience grew.
With funny songs like "Unklar" and more serious songs wrapped in very nice language it's their charming words that really got me.
In between they always had hilarious comments on one another and the following song. :D
Yet the biggest surprise of the whole festival was a Galway-based band which plays a mix of traditional Irish music and American Country music. The band consists of two sets of brothers: David Howley (guitar, vocals, banjo, mandolin), his brother Martin (vocals, banjo, mandolin) and Fergal Scahill (fiddle, guitar, percussion, viola, banjo, vocals) and his brother Enda (vocals, banjo, mandolin). They call themselves We Banjo 3...see the problem? :'D
Whenever possible they tried to chat with the audience during their gigs and involved the crowd in the songs... One song had a very simple chorus and we all ended up singing: "Down the river I go uncle Joe, down the river I go." SUCH a tune ;)
Now after the second show was over I headed to the point where they sold their CDs, bought one and asked for an autograph of all four.
Enda wasn't there but the other 3 signed it :)
I figured out that they'll play one last gig at the market so I went there and waited for them to leave the backstage area. When Fergal and David did 4 young girls were suuuper excited and asked for a photo so they got their pic and I got one too :)
Now as you can imagine I was super nervous because they really are incredibly talented musicians. Yet I really wanted a group pic with all of the lads so I waited a few mins until they came out again and had a great laugh with them. That's when I realised they aren't just talented but very cool to talk to too. :D
Welcome to the club. Sit back, drink a cup of tea and enjoy what comes out of my crazy little head :D
